Do you like to help the community? Do you like attending fun events? Do you enjoy meeting and associating with internationally minded people? Do you want to support needy children with something that really matters? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then the 19th annual Nagoya Walkathon and International Charity Festival is for you. Though the even is still a few months away we can always use a helping hand.

If you're interested in becoming a volunteer or being involved with the planning and execution of the event, please contact the ACCJ Chubu Office by calling 052-229-1525 or contacting the Walkathon Committee HERE .

You are also invited to the monthly planning meetings so come along to the first of these meetings, and lets brainstorm some ways to improve this great annual event that the Chubu International Community is so proud of.

Ticket Sellers - The Key to Success

Thank you for your interest in becoming a ticket agent for the Walkathon. Beyond selling tickets, becoming an agent for this unique event involves you educating your friends, colleagues, and other contacts about the good work that comes from the money raised as well as spreading the word about this fun and exciting day. Our agents are key to making the Walkathon the incredible success it has become. As usual, we're happy to find new and active agents who can help us make the event an even greater success!

Becoming an agent naturally means that you agree to sell tickets. When you sell someone a ticket, be sure to let them know that they are supporting the great things that the foreign and Japanese communities are doing together to better the lives of those in need in the Nagoya area. Even those who will be unable to attend the Walkathon should be encouraged to buy tickets.

We have several levels of agents, and each level involves selling a certain number of tickets.

The levels are:
Agent: 10 tickets
Gold Agent: 25 tickets
Super Agent: 50 Tickets
Adachi Agent: 100 Tickets. This level is named after our top ticket salesman for the last several years, Mr. Adachi, who wants to share the glory and is inviting others to join him in this elite group!
